Splash Maritime Group has launched Splash Cruise, a new publication dedicated to the commercial, financial and operational side of the global cruise industry.

SINGAPORE, October 13, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Splash Maritime Group has officially launched Splash Cruise, a new international news platform dedicated to the business of cruise shipping, bringing the editorial approach that has made Splash a leading independent voice in maritime journalism to the global cruise industry.

Available at splashcruise.com, the new publication delivers daily news, exclusive interviews, analysis and features covering everything from the world’s largest cruise operators and shipyards to expedition cruising, river cruising, ports, technology and the people shaping the industry’s future.

What sets Splash Cruise apart is its distinctly maritime perspective. Rather than concentrating on the passenger experience, the publication examines the commercial forces driving the industry: fleet expansion, newbuilding investments, corporate earnings, deployment strategies, changing passenger demand, ship financing and the economics of cruise operations.

Splash Cruise also intends to bring greater scrutiny to the industry’s underlying cycles, examining how fleet supply, demand, pricing and investment decisions interact across one of the world’s most capital-intensive tourism businesses.

“At Splash, we have always worked to one simple rule: never waste our readers’ time,” said Sam Chambers, co-founder and editorial director of Splash Maritime Group. “Cruise is a fascinating industry, sitting at the intersection of shipping, tourism, finance and technology. We want to get beneath the glossy brochures and understand what really makes this business tick. Why are companies ordering so many ships? Which operators are making the smartest investments? What will the industry look like 10 years from now? We’re bringing a shipping journalist’s curiosity and a healthy dose of scepticism to a sector that deserves serious, independent coverage.”

Grant Rowles, commercial director and co-founder of Splash Maritime Group, said the launch was a natural extension of the company’s strategy of building specialist media brands around commercially important maritime sectors.

“We see a real opportunity to create something different: a publication that becomes essential reading for the people who build, finance, operate and supply the world’s cruise fleets,” Rowles said, adding: “We’ve spent more than a decade building highly engaged maritime audiences and connecting them with the companies that want to reach them. Splash Cruise takes that proven model into an exciting new market, with plenty of scope to develop new industry partnerships, events and intelligence products.”

Splash Cruise is backed by the international editorial resources of Splash Maritime Group, the Singapore-headquartered company founded in 2012 by Chambers and Rowles. The group has built a global readership through its flagship Splash platform and more recent specialist launches, including SplashTech and Splash Ports.

A prominent feature of the new platform is Cruise CEO, an interview series giving senior industry executives the opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities confronting their businesses.

The publication covers ocean, river, luxury and expedition cruising, with dedicated sections for cruise lines, ports, shipyards, crew, operations and technology. Regional coverage spans the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Oceania and polar cruising.

Readers can also subscribe to The Cruise Brief, a free twice-weekly newsletter bringing together the most important developments across the global cruise industry.
